Lady Despina asked him to lower his voice because her neighbours complained about noise. He got louder just to prove a point. She asked him to leave. He thought she was joking until she opened the door and waited. Respect for her living situation wasn't optional. So he started complaining that she was throwing him out for such a minor inconvenience but she was not going to hear it. She wanted him out so she forced him out with a punishment.
